ElSounds is a unique collective of Chicago music publications and archivists, including Chicago Singles Club, Notes and Bolts, Local Loop, Loud Loop Press, Midwest Action, and Frontier Psychiatrist. The group acts to bring attention to the work of each individual organization and combine efforts on collaborative projects. ElSounds Festival is the group’s first large scale project as a cohesive collective, with each outlet having curated several artists.
