Right Away, Great Captain!
Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia
Right Away, Great Captain! recorded ‘The Bitter End’ over a span of 3 days in a 100 year old log cabin near Bastian, VA in August of 2006. It is a concept record concerning a 1600’s sailor at sea for 3 years. Each song is a journal entry to either his family at home, or his captain. The record consists of 15 songs, and clocks in at 50 minutes long. It will be available at all Manchester Orchestra shows and can be purchased at disc revolt. A new album is scheduled for August/September 2008, entitled ‘The Eventually Home’. This will be released as a physical copy along with the first album, for the first time. A track listing has been posted in his pictures on myspace, which is also regularly updated with new songs and covers that he is working on. Listen at Last.fm
