Small Sins

Ok, so we've had this MySpace page up for quite a while with this same old decription of ourselves. About time I put up the new important need to know facts:

My name is Thomas D'Arcy.

I had a band called The Carnations, then I had a band called The Ladies and Gentlemen. For legal reasons, we had to change this name. We called ourselves Small Sins, which happens to be the name of the L&G's first record. So, my name is Thomas D'Arcy, and I front the band, 'Small Sins'.

This first record, which will be re-released in Canada on June 13th, and also released in the U.S. for the first time on that same date is self-titled. I recorded most of this record by myself in various rehearsal spaces and places that I have lived. People seemed to really like it. This is nice because I like it too.

I may have played all the parts, but that is impossible live, and I like playing live, so I formed a live version of the project. The SS live is much more rockin than the record would suggest. We tried to make a really fun show, and the band sort of interprets the songs in their own way. This makes me really like the shows. They are great.

So, my name is 'Thomas D'Arcy', my band is called 'Small Sins', and I 'like' that.
