Originally formed in 2003, AUDIOBON continues to reign as one of the
best high-energy bands out of Chicago. AUDIOBON combines a show of
original music and covers that span the genres of classic rock, blues,
70’s country, alternative rock, folk, and timeless songwriters. The band
excels at delivering powerful performances with good hooks and dynamic
rhythms that make even the wallflowers dance.
AUDIOBON has played at prominent venues throughout Chicagoland including Reggie’s Rock Club & Music Joint, The Double Door, The Abbey, The Note, The Cubby Bear, Portage Theater, The Roundhouse, Real Time Sports, Alley 64 and many more.
In addition, the band has done it’s fair share of touring throughout the Midwest, including opening for Great White, playing resorts and camp sites as far South as Lake of the Ozarks, and gigging for college crowds as far North as Madison, WI. A 2012 tour beyond the Midwest is currently in the planning stage.
AUDIOBON is back in the studio recording new material to be released in 2011/2012. Until then the band’s debut CD, entitled Heavy Hum©2005 (Alternative Rock), is available on iTunes, CD Baby, Rhapsody, and Amazon.
