Gag Order combines the synth vibes and melodic vocals of new wave with grungy alt-pop guitar to create a unique sound that is both danceable and edgy. The Ultrasounds were formed in 2003 by Christopher Gilbert and Patrick Conway out of a desire to create new retro-styled indie rock. Initially a four-piece made up of friends from high school, in eventual streamlining of the lineup resulted in the addition of drummer/vocalist Sara Kay. - Artists
