Skinwalker
Based in Chicago and formed in the fall of 2007 by former Kamikaze Butterfly guitarist Gus Pappadimas and bassist Brian Kostanski along with former NDX vocalist Taran de Pablos, Skinwalker centers its own brand of hard rock and metal around heavy riffs, driven grooves, haunting melodies, and abrasive lyrics. 2009 saw the additions of former Great Nothing guitarist Marcos Higareda and former Kamikaze Butterfly and Hairbangers Ball alum Hugo. Although their influences are rooted in 70’s and 80’s hard rock and metal, Skinwalker’s music has been compared to that of bands like Rob Zombie, The Almighty, Godsmack, Alice in Chains, and Stone Temple Pilots. Their video single “Captain Nice’s Alter Ego” perfectly summarizes the spirit of Skinwalker’s music… straightforward, heavy, and uncompromising. After finishing their self-titled debut album in the winter of 2008, they released it through Madison indie label Hardknocks Records and started its promotion by bringing their musical vision live to numerous Chicagoland venues, such as Elbo Room, Austin’s Fuel Room, The Pearl Room, Reggie’s Rock Club, Penny Road Pub, JJ Kelly’s, and Champs Rock Room, developing, in the process, a strong and ever-growing fan base. Collectively, the members of Skinwalker have shared the stage with such acts as Anthrax, Creed, Rammstein, the Black Crowes, Quiet Riot, DRI, Monster Magnet, Local H, Sevendust, Voi Vod, Brian May of Queen, Living Colour, Slaughter, Candlebox, Stabbing Westward, the Hunger, Joe Satriani, and Silverchair, among others. Skinwalker is endorsed by DirtBag Clothing, Trick Drums, Seymour Duncan Guitar and Bass Pickups, Randall Amplifiers and US Music Corp., The Gibson Guitar Company, Players Music/Duratech Drumsticks, BC Rich Guitars, Humes and Berg Cases, The Gig Rig Switching systems, and Slug Percussion Products. Denial Machine
Korah and the others gathered themselves with 250 princes of Israel, men of renown, famous in the congregation. Thy came before Moses and Aaron saying, 'You take too much upon yourselves. Seeing all the congregation is holy, why do you lift yourselves up above the rest of the congregation?'" But God exacted punishment upon Korah and the others by causing the earth to open up and swallow them! The "gainsaying of Korah" was a rebellion against divine authority. Denial Machine delivers a rebellion against confining genre constraints with it's new EP The Gainsaying of Korah. 4 songs that retain the speed, precision, and harsh raw emotion of their debut album but also expand on the use of melody within aggressive structures. The growth of vocalist Eamon Skube is on clear display throughout. The lead single "Silver Tongued Devil" showcases a confident and strong chorus blending in seamlessly with the dual guitar attack of Mark Anderson and Mark Cichra and the solid rhythm foundation formed by drummer Jaycen Angone and bassist Brad Heilman. Denial Machine formed in February of 2009. It was a struggle to find a vocalist to complete the line up. Then bassist Eamon Skube took the leap to frontman, showing clear signs of being able to handle the transition. The group wasted little time; that summer the band's self-titled debut album was recorded with Producer Chris Wisco (Dirge Within, November's Doom, Nonpoint) and Mastered by James Murphy (Lazarus AD, Daath, Testament, Death). The single "This Burden (Tortured) was released along with a video shortly after. The album hit stores on 12-15-2009 available at Best Buy, iTunes and Amazon (among others) The bands first ever show saw them hit the stage with Otep (Victory Records) and Destrophy (Victory Records). Throughout 2010 Denial Machine also shared the stage throughout the Midwest with God Forbid (Century Media Records) Threat Signal (Nuclear Blast) and Flaw (ex- Universal/Republic). In September the new EP was released. The production team from the first album was utilized again. "The Gainsaying of Korah" is available in all major online digital stores. The band also has an limited edition physical CD version that is exclusively sold on their website (denialmachine.net). The rest of 2010 into 2011 will see the band continue to expand their touring by hitting new markets and growing their fanbase on a grassroots level.

Losing Scarlet
Losing Scarlet formed in late 2007 when vocalist Jodi Kell contacted guitarist Scott Haith about forming a band. After hearing Jodi sing Scott knew there was something special about her voice and there would be only one bassist to compliment the collaboration. Petra Sith agreed to hear the two songs that Jodi and Scott had put together and the band became a three piece. But what about a drummer? Conor Mccann was the first drummer the three tried out, and after a few sessions together, they knew he was it. Losing Scarlet was born and ready to play. Within three months they had written and recorded a six song demo and performed at three shows. They received a very warm response at these shows and have steadily been building up a loyal fan base ever since. Losing Scarlet’s fan base is as diverse as there music. With fan ages running from pre-teen to empty nester, Losing Scarlet draws a very diverse crowd. After taking it slow through 2008 to get to know each other musically and personally, Losing Scarlet has become a well oiled machine ready to take 2010 by storm! They invite you to be a part of it.
