- UK's musical duo the Ting Tings (of Jules de Martino (drums, lead guitar, bass guitar, vocals, piano) and Katie White (vocals, guitar, bass drums, bass guitar, cowbells) return to Metro's stage this Spring! Rising to fame with the releases of 2008's We Started Nothing, The Ting Tings rocketed into the rock and roll hearts of fans and critics around the world. Charting at number one in the U.K and selling four million copies worldwide, the album inspired devotion internationally. The band's second studio album, Sounds from Nowheresville, is scheduled for release in February 2012, and they've already put some videos of new material on their website!

about 1 month agoArmed with one of the worst band names I've heard in a long time, Manchester, U.K.'s The Ting Tings are nevertheless starting to make a splash here across the Pond (although I think technically you have to be IN the Pond to make a splash, but semantics people, semantics) for their oh-so-catchy electro that makes the kids get up and shout, "I think I really rather like this!" more at ohmyrockness.com
