Project Vagabond Singer Songwriter Project Vagabond is a fun, folky, original sounding acoustic duo playing older (and newer) cover tunes and favorites, fitting in ear-catching original compositions into their ever-expanding and diverse set. Now five years into their musical partnership, Jackie (fiddle and vocals) and Aaron (guitar and vocals) have experimented blending different genres together to create their unique sound, consisting of blues, bluegrass, jazz, classic rock, folk, and even classical music. Originally hailing from Chicago, Jackie and Aaron began Project: Vagabond with the dream of taking their music across the country by bicycle! In the summer of 2007, they set out in Odell, Illinois with two bicycles, one guitar, one fiddle, and one amplifier all strapped precariously to their bicycles. They had one mission in mind: spread the music. Three months and six states later, they arrived at the Atlantic Ocean with a fresh outlook on life and whole new legion of fans. Fast forward to 2008 Project Vagabond relocated to Austin, Texas, in part to become involved in the thriving Austin music scene. Both ended up as sidemen and compositional collaborators in other projects while Project: Vagabond went on brief periods of hiatus.
