Samantha Rebello’s FORMS ARE NOT SELF-SUBSISTENT SUBSTANCES (2010, 23 min.) explores substances (flesh, stone, milk and meat) through medieval imagery, while the woman in Reynold Reynolds’s SECRET LIFE (2008, 10 min.) exists in a surreal closed world where her thoughts manifest as plants growing to overtake her existence.
