June 03, 2012Lemonade began in the late aughts as a San Francisco-based dance-music act with an affinity for groups like Liquid Liquid, who brought tropical rhythms and art-damaged energy to New York’s d=6580258">more at chicagoreader.com

Featured Review from Oh My Rockness
May 29, 2012When life hands you lemons with a continuous barrage of big beat downs, what do you do? You make some of the best dance grooves around. And Brooklyn’s Lemonade do just that. They are one of those instantly entrancing bands.

June 03, 2012Currently there seems to be a lot of demand for sunny, punky, female-fronted bubblegum bands, but in certain corners of the world—including my household—that sound is never not in style. Featured Review from Chicago Reader
June 03, 2012After 22 years and 12 full-length studio albums, you’d think Swedish black-metal institution Marduk would have worn off some of their own edges—it’s hard to imagine they can still tell whether their music has any shock value. Maybe Mortuus, who’s fronted the band since 2004, is starting to feel like he’s punching a time clock with the blasphemy. more at chicagoreader.com

Featured Review from shawnkellner
June 06, 2012This is by far the best show to go to next to Roger Waters at Cubby Bear this Friday night. Amrita is one of the hottest bands to come out of the windy city in a long time. Their live show is filled with energy and emotion. I HIGHLY recommend attending this show.
