This year, the Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival will be picking 5 BANDS to join their January 21st or January 28th lineups. No need to have to a banjo in the band, it’s just a catchy contest name.
Artist Submissions: Between now and December 31st, follow the mega-simple steps to submit your act.
Voting: Vote once per day, every day, if you want to make a life-changing difference for some deserving artists. The online voting period begins on January 1st and concludes on January 13th. Each e-mail address will be allotted one vote per day, so encourage your supporters to vote early and often!
The Decision: On January 13th the votes will be tallied and the Two Bands with the most votes along with 3 of Top 20 vote-getters chosen by Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival organizers will play at either the Auditorium Theatre or Congress Theater main events.
Real Time Voting Results: Is your favorite band in first place? If not, maybe you should spread the word a little better.
Anyone caught cheating by creating multiple accounts, using bots to vote for or using pay per vote services will be disqualified or have their votes reset. So please, don’t waste your time or ours cheating. (All disqualifications based on the sole discretion of Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival)

The "Big Hit Blues Band" consists of professional musicians, that have been playing the Chicago's Blues scene for the past year. Within this time,our band were guests at the Beverly Art Center. We also had the privilege to play at Toyota Park this past summer, due to the accomplishment of "The Big Hit Blues Band", winning the battle of the bands contest at Chuck's BBQ ~(Burbank). "The Big Hit Blues Band", would be honored to play for your historical venue among an amazing lineup. Our high-energy and low down and dirty tunes will be surely to entertain your blues and don't forget your dancing shoes!
