Breaking Away
From what started to be a typical cover band, Make It To Midnight has improved immensely since their initiation in 2010. Unlike your mainstream hardcore or screamo band that has been processed within the years, this group of 5 young rockers from Carol Stream, IL will bring you a new take on the scene with their upbeat pop punk sound and power ballads mixed with some ferocious breakdowns, giving it a new sound to get used to.
It’s not too ironic that 3/5 of MITM are related with Marco (drums), Cesar (bass and backup vocals), and Gir Espinoza (vocals and screams) trailed by Cristian Gonzalez (guitar and backup vocals) and Edgar Lomeli (guitar and backup vocals) to complete the line-up, though they met Edgar after the formation. Since Marco and Edgar jammed together prior to the band in high school and were looking for another guitarist, just like that, they were whole.
With influences that range from Pierce the Veil, A Day to Remember, and My Chemical Romance’s earlier work, you can expect a live show to be loud, aggressive, and lively.
