Beauty Bar head honcho Paul Devitt joined forces with Empty Bottle kingpins Bruce Finkleman and Pete Toalson in 2008 to bring the concept to Chicago. After many false starts Beauty Bar opened in March 2010 at 1444 W Chicago Ave in Noble Square. Devitt bought and transported the interior of the Paris Salon of Beauty, an immaculate late sixties salon from Springfield, NJ. With the help of partner Robert McAdams of Mode Carpentry the space was transformed into a luxurious, swanky time capsule of big hair. pink nails and dry martinis.
