Pippins Tavern has been the quintessential Irish pub on the Rush Street scene for over 35 years.

A great spot for shoppers to rest their weary bones and grab a bite
from Down Town Dogs the hot dog joint next door (you don’t even have to
get up, the bartender will order it for you!). Along with the shoppers
and visitors from nearby hotels, you find the cheerful regular crowd.
Never short on stories, these fine folks they are sure to spin a tale
of the real Chicago.

Pippin’s has plenty of
cold beers on tap, even more in a bottle, and tons of booze behind the
bar, you’re never short on choices and they always have great specials.
One of the neatest things about the place is all the celebrity
sightings! Lars Ulritch, Bono, Baseball, basketball and football
players galore come to Pippins on a regular basis. Famous people go to
famous bars, and Pips has paid it’s dues.
