Black-Owned Patios In Chicago Open Now

If you're going to enjoy a patio this week, why not support a Black-owned business at the same time?


We do love our patio season in Chicago and are ready to enjoy being outside again. The city is home to dozens and dozens of great patios to kick back on, but we wanted to highlight the restaurants in town that are Black-owned and have outdoor dining available right now.

The Delta

The Delta is an ode to food, beverage, and culture from the Mississippi Delta region. Enjoy house specialties like their Mississippi Red Hot tamales on their gorgeous enclosed patio, open again for the summer, along with their Sunday Soul Brunch back in session with bottomless mimosas.

This Black woman-owned restaurant offers classic Italian dishes with a modern twist. Truth Italian’s outdoor patio is elegantly designed, making it a great date night destination. And if you're a fan of their signature breakfast menu, their french toast batter is available for sale!
