There's no denying that Chicago is a foodie town.
And we've got the stars to prove it. The 2025 Michelin Star winners have been announced and Chicago is home to 22 restaurants on this year's list.

Alinea continues to reign supreme in the city. It's easier to compare Chef Grant Achatz's dishes to art than it is to describe them simply as food.

Smyth is back on this list with three stars, offering approachable fine dining in West Loop. Once you check this one off your bucket list, visit its sister restaurant The Loyalist downstairs for more amazing food and the best burger in town.

After Restaurant Row favorite Grace closed in 2017, Chicago was thrilled to see Chef Curtis Duffy's return with Ever. Apparently, so were the Michelin awards.

Oriole has finally revealed its renovations and reservations are open! Already lauded for its experiential dining, the restaurant's recent changes expand diners' culinary adventure with tasty stops in the welcome lounge, kitchen, dining room and bar.

Middle Eastern fine dining gets its dues as Galit in Lincoln Park enters the Chicago Michelin star list for the first time in 2022. The restaurant first opened in 2019.
