GREG CORNER DJ'ing BIO: Most people know Greg Corner as the bass player of the alternative rock band KILL HANNAH. However what most people don't know is a couple of years before he joined the band in 1997 he was going to raves and throwing underground house parties around Chicago . His love for electronic and dance-rock music pushed him to start a club night where he first started dj'ing in 2000.It started out as an alternative/electronic/ brit rock night ,but soon after his new found friend and roommate Tommie Sunshine started dj'ing with him. Tommie's influence and future music taste changed the night into an early version of what DARK WAVE DISCO is .Sadly the night didn't last more then 2 years, with Tommie moving to NYC and Greg touring with KILL HANNAH around the US . In 2005 Greg met Mark Gertz and DJ Trancid , they all shared the same love for Electro-dance rock music and had the same vision of what a club night should be.In March 2005 DARK WAVE DISCO was born. Since then the trio have thrown parties and shared the stage with Justice, MSTRKRFT, Digitalism,Felix Da Housecat, Steve Aoki and many other heavy hitting electronic artists. Last year Dark Wave Disco played the Lollapalooza Festival and continue to play shows internationally. In Chicago they have 2 monthly parties -Die Tonight @ Beauty Bar (first saturday of every month) with Midnight Conspiracy - Blow The Speakers 18+ dance party at Bottom Lounge
